Call for Research Proposals for Postgraduate-Level Thesis Research Support 

(Fiscal Year 2082/2083)

Chay-Ya Nepal, since its establishment, has been working with rural communities across Nepal in areas such as quality education, basic health services, drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), environmental conservation, livelihood development, and emergency humanitarian response.

With the objective of promoting quality and practice-oriented research based on its priority thematic areas, Chay-Ya Nepal hereby publishes this notice to provide thesis research support grants to postgraduate-level students. Interested students are requested to submit their applications within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. 

1. Thematic Areas 

• Climate change, environment, and disaster risk reduction 
• Agriculture, biodiversity, and climate-resilient agriculture 
• Gender equality, social inclusion, and women’s empowerment 
• Green enterprises, cooperatives, and value-chain development 
• Digital innovation and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, health, and agriculture 

2. Application Submission Process 

• All required documents must be submitted via email to the address below:

  Falgun 4, 2082 (16 February 2026),Monday, by 5:00 PM
• Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further procedures.
